In 1950, cousins Don and Joe opened a small auto body shop in Bayside and named it Don & Joe Auto Body. For the better part of 25 years, they maintained a successful business with an excellent reputation.

When the cousins sold the shop to Frank Marzano in 1974, he simplified the name to Don Joe Auto Body. The Marzano family would take Don Joe to a new level over the next two generations.In 1996, after years of success, Don Joe Auto Body relocated to a larger location in Great Neck, Long Island. Frank's son Christopher is the current owner and operator. The business has continued to expand and improve with the help of Christopher's incredible team.

During an interview about the shop's growth, Christopher said:

"My father started this Great Neck location with a less than 5,000 sq foot shop, and during the 22 years, my family and I have grown it to be one of the largest auto collision centers in Great Neck Long Island. We now consume an entire block and operate out of over 25,000 sq feet of space!"—Christopher Marzano.Having established outstanding relations with major insurance companies and automobile manufacturers, Don Joe Auto Body maintains its "family-owned business feeling."
